Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account details: your name, email address and password (we store a protected version of it, never the password itself). Producers also give a store name and a store address, like yourname.beatbed.com.
• Orders: what you bought, the license, the price and when. Card details go straight to our payment provider. We never see or store your full card number.
• Using BeatBed: beats you played, saved or followed, so we can show you your library and suggest beats you may like.
• Device information: basic technical data such as browser type and a rough location from your IP address, to keep the service secure and working.

Why we use it

• To run your account, take payments and deliver your files and license PDFs.
• To send emails you need, like order receipts and account notices.
• To keep BeatBed safe and stop fraud.
• To improve BeatBed and, only where you have agreed, to send you news and offers.

Who sees it

• Producers: when you buy from a producer, they receive your name, your email and what you bought, so they can deliver your order and get in contact.
• Service providers: payments (Stripe and PayPal), email sending (Amazon Web Services (Amazon SES) and Google Workspace) and website hosting. They only use data to do their job for us.
• The law: we may share data when the law or a court requires us to.

We do not sell your personal data.

Cookies and similar tech

We use a small number of cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in, hold your cart and remember your choices. We count plays, follows and sales on BeatBed ourselves, to show trending beats and to pay producers. We do not use advertising trackers or sell your data.

How long we keep it

We keep account and order records for as long as your account is open and for 7 years afterwards where the law requires us to keep financial records. After that we delete them or remove anything that identifies you.

Children

BeatBed is not meant for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you think a child has made an account, write to support@beatbed.com and we will delete it.

Your choices

You can ask to see, fix, download or delete your data, and to stop emails at any time (every email has an unsubscribe link). Write to support@beatbed.com. Depending on where you live you may have more rights, such as the right to complain to your local data authority.

Security

We protect data with encryption in transit, access limits and regular checks. No online service is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password.
